(2024) Led local 10-person Jewish teen youth group for the last 2-years as President, connecting with other Jewish teens, volunteering within Los Angeles, and helping to run and organize social justice events.

Chaplain

(2024) Former Secretary, now Chaplain of our delegation of 80 students focusing on healthy living, social responsibility and civic engagement. Co-led weekly meetings on Tuesday evenings and helped plan three retreats at Santa Monica Beach, Camp Roberts National Guard Post, and Sacramento.

(2012) Advocated to elected officials about climate change, gun violence and mental health while learning of immigration stories through in-person visits to our U.S. / Mexico border and New York’s Ellis Island.

Madrichim and Student Teacher

(2024) Educated students on Hebrew, Jewish culture, values and traditions as a madrichim (teaching apprentice) 9th-11th grade, and was recently promoted to official student teacher in 12th grade.

Jury Member

(2023) Deliberated fair and just sentencing for non-violent crimes committed by peers to provide them opportunity for correction before graduating to more serious crimes.
